Alumni Corporation News

For the fiscal year 2003-2004, the Eta Kappa Alumni Association collected $1,643 in donations, and incurred $1,700 in expenses.  Below is a list of men who donated money since the beginning of 2003.  I would like to thank each of you on the list below, and I would like to make a request for all of our brothers.  We all know that without donations, the Alumni Corporation cannot exist.  Without the $25, $50, or $100 that you all send in, we cannot continue to organize alumni events.

We incur expenses of about $1,800 annually.  That money pays for alumni newsletters and all events connected to Homecoming (tailgating, invitations, breakfast, etc…).  We have gotten a PayPal account in the hopes that you all would find it easier to donate your money to help us continue to operate.

Please seriously consider donating money to the Eta Kappa Alumni Association.  Not only our we here to help you keep in touch with other alumni and to keep you abreast of the happenings of the undergraduate chapter, we are also hoping to become strong enough to help out the undergraduate chapter in some capacity.

We hope to start collecting money to start scholarships for brothers to attend the annual Theta Chi conferences (Chapter Leadership Conference, Deranian’s President’s conference, National Convention, Mid-Years).  Our long-term goal, as always, is to raise enough money to purchase our own house.

Below is the link to the paypal account that you can use to donate money directly to our account.  If you’d wish to send in a check, please make all checks out to “Eta Kappa Alumni Association”, and send them to 2828 LaFora Court, Vienna, VA 22180.
