Standards Compliance

Attempts have been made to ensure that every page contains valid XHTML 1.0 Strict because of the value of web standards.

This site uses valid CSS for layout and formatting to separate the content from the design of the site. This site may look odd in older, non-standards compliant browsers, but all content should be readable and usable.

All efforts have been made to ensure the accessibility of this site. All pages are in accordance with U.S. Federal Section 508 guidelines, are Bobby AAA approved, and comply with all priority 1, 2, and 3 guidelines of the W3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Links

  1. Many links make use of the title attribute, which describes the link in greater detail.
  2. There are no "javascript:" pseudo-links. All links can be followed in any browser, even if scripting is turned off.
  3. There are no links that open new windows without warning.

Images

  1. All content images used in the home page and all archives include descriptive ALT attributes.
  2. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
