About JMU STC
The JMU STC Student Chapter was established in the fall of 1999 to foster professional development among the undergraduate and graduate students in the Institute of Technical and Scientific Communication (ITSC). Membership in STC is intended for (but not limited to):
- editors and writers
- educators and students
- graphic artists and technical illustrators
- independent consultants and contractors
- managers and supervisors
- multimedia artists
- photographers and audiovisual specialists
- translators
Questions concerning chapter events and membership should be directed to current officers.
The chapter also publishes a newsletter, Bytes & Pieces.
