Greetings Freethinkers!
As many of you remember, the elections for Officer positions are going to be held this Wednesday, 4/2, at 7:30pm. If you know that you will be unable to attend, please email Freethinkers BEFORE 6:30pm on Weds with your votes. Any emails received after Weds at 6:30 will not be counted. The candidates for the following positions are listed:
- President - Clare Sieren
- Vice President - Elizabeth Hogan , Maggie Carlson
- Secretary - Colby Connelly , Shannon McKernin
- Treasurer - Elizabeth Hogan
- Advertising Exec - Maggie Carlson, Elizabeth Hogan
- Events Coordinator - Colby Connelly
The topic this week comes from a friend of mines Facebook Notes. The question he addresses is: If your atheism is based on reason and evidence, then what sort of evidence or arguments would it take to get you to change your mind? What would it take for you to stop being an atheist and start believing in God? I'd like to hear what everyone has to say in response to this. Meeting will be at 7:30pm Weds in the APL, with NO early officer meeting. I intend to begin the elections at no later than 7:40pm. Be prompt, peoples!
One last note: Peter is looking for a cat sitter for a couple weeks in May. If you are interested, come to the meeting or contact Freethinkers.

NEW T-SHIRTS!!!
We are in the process of making new T-shirts for the group. If we get enough people who are willing to buy them, we will have them made. We're thinking these new shirts will cost you around $10. PLEASE email JMUFreethinkers@gmail.com if you know that you will purchase one of these shirts!! You can also comment on what color you would prefer the shirt to be (we'd order them all one color or maybe multiple colors if they allow it), and comment on the design and saying we've come up with.
