Thanks for your interest in the basketball tournament co hosted by JMU's ASU
and KSA! When teams start registering, this page will be updated to include
the schools participating, their rosters, and then the bracket, as well as
any other updates about the tournament. Check back frequently!

Here are some quick details:
It will take place on April 12th, 2008 anticipating a timeframe of
9am - 6pm.
The tournament will be played with a double elimination style
bracket.
Co-Ed means that there needs to be at least 2-3 girls playing on the
court at any given time.
Each team must have a minimum of 5 players to play and no more than
10 players total on the roster.
Registration is due by 03/15/08 and the registration fee is $100.
(Make checks payable to JMU Asian Student Union.)
The winning team will receive $500 as well as other great prizes
which may include t-shirts, gift cards, and free admission to the after
party.
Teams should have their own same colored t-shirts with numbers on the back,
however, pennies may be provided to those who need them. (Please let us know
if this is the case when registering.)

How to Register:
E-mail us at jmu.asu@gmail.com with your school's name, the organization
you represent, team name, captain's name, and team roster.
We will e-mail you back with a confirmation and a waiver that all of the
players need to sign and bring to the tournament.

There is a registration limit of 15 teams, so register ASAP!

Do all the players on my team need to be members of the organization that
we represent?
No, it is not necessary that all of the team players to be members of the
organization.

Can we make changes to the roster after we register?
Yes, roster changes can be submitted to jmu.asu@gmail.com, however, after
April 1st, the rosters are finalized and changes cannot be made after that
date.

Where is this tournament going to be held?
James Madison University 800 S.Main St Harrisonburg, VA 22807 at the
University Recreation Center.

What time do we need to be there?
All of the team members need to be at UREC on Saturday, April 12th at 8:30AM
ready to sign in.

Will there be festivities afterwards?
Yes, we will provide a venue for social interaction and entertainment
after the basketball tournament.

Refreshements?
We will provide complimentary water for the players, and there will be
other refreshments and food available on the patio during the game
We've held this tournament successfully in the past, but there has been a
brief hiatus and we're bringing it back better than ever this year!
